?We wanted to keep it as short as possible. But with injuries and delays, it was inevitable it was going to stretch out longer than we would personally like. But I think at the end of the day, two years is a very reasonable time frame when you consider all the great fights it turned out to make.?
BoxingInsider: Any idea as to what your next tournament might be?
Ken Hershman: ?We haven?t identified it yet. We?re trying to get to October 29 (the Super Six final Ward vs. Froch) and then we?ll go back to the drawing board and see where we can attack next.?
BoxingInsider: With the success of the tournament, what advices would you give to HBO to get a similar tournament going at welterweight so they can make Pacquiao vs. Mayweather a reality finally?
Ken Hershman: ?Well, I?m not in the advice business for my competitors [smiles faintly]. So I?m just happy for Showtime, I?m happy for the fighters, the promoters and the participants of this tournament, to finally get an answer on October 29 about who the best guy is.?
