8CN sat down with former WBC light heavyweight world champion Jean Pascal (26-2-16KO-1D) and got the latest on what’s going on with him. Pascal tells 8CN that he will more than likely be back in the ring on December 10th at the Belle Centre, in Montreal.
Pascal tells 8CN that efforts were underway to match him against current IBF champ Tavoris Cloud but according to him Don King was too greedy and the fight never could get made. Check out what else Pascal had to say.
8CN ? What’s up champ. What’s the latest?
JP ? Honestly I have been chilling for awhile. Now I am back to work, I am back in the gym and looking for my next fight. I think I will be fighting in December and hopefully for another title.
8CN ? Any idea who the opponent will be yet?
JP ? My promoter was trying to make a deal with Dong King to fight Tavoris Cloud but you know Don King, he is too greedy. I guess that Cloud has the wrong promoter so I don’t think this fight will happen.
8CN ? What are your other options?
JP ? You know my style I don’t care. Anywhere, anytime, anyone. I want to face the best because I think I am the best. Anyone, I really don’t care.
8CN ? How do you assess your performance Vs. Hopkins in your last fight?
