HOT POTATO Exclusive via HOLLYWOOD, California – Angry, defiant and resistant to questioning, Michael Koncz, recently embattled adviser of Manny Pacquiao,denies allegation by some disgruntled members of Team Pacquiao linking him to an allegation saying the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, to which he is not a party to it nor privy of its affairs, is “bogus and has not received the grace and authority of Manny Pacquiao”.
“I’ve never mentioned that the Manny Pacquiao Foundation is a bogus organization,” says Koncz. “Whoever says that is a full of shit because that’s not accurate!”
Koncz asserts saying, “I have no involvement in the foundation, one way or the other. They have directors. They have people in charge. So, I have nothing to do with that organization.”
“It’s not my job. So, I have no further comments about its operation,” Koncz confines.
On the other hand, this writer personally confirms with Pacquiao of the latter’s chairmanship of the same foundation.
“Yes, that’s my foundation.” Pacquiao claims while checking information of its business card which was given especially to this writer by Helena Buscema, who is a member of the Board of Directors and the duly designated Program Director for Special Projects, for a study of its operation and for potential media exploration purposes.
The said foundation was approved by the United States Internal Revenue Services on June 23, 2011 as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 of the United States Internal Revenue Services Code and is recognized as a public charity organization. Its legal counsel and guardian is Atty. Marsha-laine F. Dungog.
