Juan Manuel Marquez made headlines yesterday after his arrival in the city of Manila in the Philippines. Marquez will be facing off with Manny Pacquiao for a third time this coming November 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and the two men are set to embark on a four-city promotional tour to hype the event starting tomorrow.
And despite the contest being well over two months away, Pacquiao is already getting down to business and could be spotted training yesterday with his assistant trainer, Restituto ?Buboy’ Fernandez inside of a local gym. Pacquiao is coming off of a dominating yet uneventful unanimous this past May over Shane Mosley and knows fully well that he needs an electrifying performance against Marquez the third time around.
Pacquiao fought the Mexico City stalwart to a split draw in May of 2004 and narrowly defeated him in March of 2008.
