It is being reported that YouTube sensation Maria Aragon has been selected by Manny Pacquiao to sing the Philippine National Anthem at his next fight Vs. Juan Manuel Marquez. Maria’s rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” has over 40 million views and climbing. The native of Winnipeg Canada has been around the world, most recently in the Philippines to sign her record deal with Star Records.
8CN can proudly say that we had a major part in getting Maria the opportunity. Earlier in the year 8CN’s Co Founder Brad Cooney reached out to Maria’s sister Rojuane and got the Aragon family in touch with Team Pacquiao. Aragon has an extremely bright future ahead of her. We at 8CN are extremely proud of Maria and all of her successes. We wish her many more years of success to come.
