WHO, where, when and how much Manny Pacquiao would earn when he makes his 2004 debut will be known today after the Filipino featherweight phenom and his business manager Rod Nazario meet with executives of HBO Boxing led by Kerry Davis in New York City. Pacquiao wants no less than $1 million when he fights sometime in May probably against Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez, who reigns as featherweight champion in the World Boxing Association and the International Boxing Federation.
Pacquiao and Nazario are going to be accompanied in the HBO meeting by US promoter Murad Muhammad and Roberto Nazario, the San Francisco-based son of Rod. Pacquiao and Nazario flew to San Francisco on Friday evening on board a Philippine Airlines jet. After spending less than two days in the Bay Area, Pacquiao and Nazario went to the Big Apple on Sunday evening.
