?For the record I never left Floyd Sr.? ? De La Hoya backs up Mayweather Sr.

Towards the closing seconds of last night?s premier episode of HBO?s 24/7 Mayweather-Ortiz, there was certainly high drama in the air. Floyd Mayweather Jr. could be seen engaging in a heated argument with his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., and the two had some venomous words for one another.

Mayweather is getting ready for a September 17th date against Victor Ortiz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and after his training session at his nearby gym is when things took off between him and Senior. Floyd Sr. has always been adamant that it was he who taught his son everything he knows but Junior was quick to dismiss such talk during the argument, heaping all praise on his trainer and Uncle Roger.

Things nearly got physical between the two men and Floyd Jr. dished out some hateful words, including calling his father a fag***, telling him that he was practically worthless during his days as a fighter, and also dogging him because his former fighters Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya dismissed him of his services.
