Unbeatable?- A good friend of mine asked me recently a very tough question. And it had nothing to do with math, or who I think is prettier between Megan Fox, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, or Adriana Lima? I was asked on who I thought is the closest thing to being unbeatable right now? Of the fighters fighting right now, Who is damn near unbeatable? I gave it a lot of thought, and off the top of my head the names that came out were: The Klitschko bro?s, Andre Ward, Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Nonito Donaire. Yes, in that order?you can also throw in Sergio Martinez in there as well. Megan Fox is prettier by the way?
Agbeko wins for losing- As we all know by now, The IBF has ordered an immediate rematch between Abner Mares and Joseph Agbeko. Everyone pretty much agrees that the rematch taking place is not only great for Agbeko, but it is also great for Mares. It?s great for Mares because this is his opportunity to eliminate any doubts and prove to everyone and more importantly himself that he in fact is the real champion. I tell you what though, To me, the biggest winner in all this just might be Agbeko. Had it been Agbeko that won the fight, truth be told, Agbeko may have found himself on the shelf for quite some time. Why you ask? Because Don King is Agbeko?s promoter, and well, Don King doesn?t do much promoting these days. So Mares beating Agbeko?s nuts to death, was sure a win for Mares, but it was an even bigger win for Agbeko who now will find himself in 2 back to back big paydays.
Why is Super Cocky Carl Froch liked, but Mayweather Jr. is not?- Carl ?the Cobra? Froch says that he can not be stopped, that it is impossible to knock him out, Froch talks trash, Froch?s walk can even find a way to offend most. Yet, Froch is still loved and admired. Floyd Mayweather Jr. pretty much does the same type of things that Froch does, but Floyd is not loved and admired in most boxing circles. Go ahead and say that I am wrong, go on and tell me that Mayweather has millions of followers, you can also tell me that Mayweather gets millions of pay per view buys so that must mean that Mayweather is loved and admired. Truth of the matter is that at least 50-65% of those pay per view buyers are only buying the card in hopes of seeing Mayweather lose. Most out there want to see lil Floyd humbled, they want to see someone hand Floyd his first L. So why exactly is that? Why so much hate towards Floyd? Why does the super cocky Froch get love? Froch should get more hate thrown his way for the simple fact that Froch has an insanely hot wife. But still Floyd is a magnet to all the hate and shade.. One can?t even mention something nice about Floyd without ducking soon after. Many stones shall be thrown.. So what gives? In my opinion, I feel that the biggest reason for this is because Floyd has pretty much ever since his Jose Luis Castillo scare picked his spots. Floyd has operated towards the low risk/high reward region. Froch doesn?t operate in that manner, A cocky s.o.b. fighter like Froch looks at it as the bigger the fighter the bigger the reward so bring ?em all on. Ali was also a huge trash talker, but in many eyes, Ali is viewed today as the greatest of all time. Will we say the same about Floyd being the greatest of all time 30-40 years from now? Sure some will, but most will not. Ali like Froch, fought the very best that his division had to offer. Please do not view this as me hating on Floyd, it?s just that I was recently asked this question and I strongly believe that the reason mentioned above is the reason for all the hate. I mean, I could be wrong, so you tell me what it really is..
