We are mere hours away from one of the most important and evenly matched fights of this year as Abner Mares will soon challenge IBF bantamweight champion Joseph ?King Kong? Agbeko in the finale? of Showtime?s bantamweight tournament. Set to take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mares-Agbeko figures to be a classic battle of will between two men who have shown the ability to both box and brawl with great fervor. I recently reached out to some boxing trainers, fighters, fellow journalists, and insiders to get their take on the bout and while many people are undecided on the matchup, several are riding with the youth and desire of the 25-year old Mares to win his first world title.
