Both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have made statements over the last few weeks plainly stating that a fight between the pair will happen in the near future, that of course is assuming that they get past upcoming opponents Juan Manuel Marquez and Victor Ortiz respectively.
While the biggest previous stumbling block to the pair fighting, the use of Olympic style random blood testing, now seems to have been removed however, there are still minor details that have yet to be agreed on by both sides.
One such being who will be doing the testing and where it will take place.
Mayweather in the recent past has used the USADA to handle random testing for both himself and his opponents. Manny Pacquiao typically splits his training between Baguio City in the Philippines and Los Angeles, the former of which the USADA doesn’t operate in.
Who will test Pacquiao in the Philippines is potentially an issue if Mayweather won’t accept any other testing agency than the USADA, unless the Filipino decides to train completely in the United States.
