Pacquiao, along with his business manager Rod Nazario, will enplane today for the United States to ink the pact that is expected to guarantee the Filipino boxing superstar at least $1 million (P56 million) for a box-office showdown with Marquez tentatively set on May 22 at a still undetermined venue.
Pacquiao and Nazario will spend a night in San Francisco before proceeding to the cable network?s New York headquarters, where they will meet with HBO senior vice president for sports Kerry Davis and American promoters Murad Muhammad and Bob Arum to iron out some kinks that may arise from the megabuck deal.
