KNOCKOUT artist Lorenzo Villanueva, who stopped 19 of his 21 foes, will be tested as he takes on crafty Indonesian veteran Eddy Comaro in the undercard of Pinoy Pride 7 this Saturday at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.
?It could be his toughest fight as Comaro is tough,? ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer told Sun.Star Cebu.
Comaro is the same boxer that gave prospect Jason Pagara a difficult time over a year ago at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City. Pagara escaped a razor-thin majority decision over Comaro.
Villanueva, 20-0 with 19 knockouts, has been on a rigid training regimen at ALA Gym in Cebu City for over a month, away from his usual training ground at the Braveheart Boxing Stable in Mindanao.
?He has improved and has been working hard on his skills and technique,? said Aldeguer.
The unbeaten Villanueva has been sparring with some of the promising youngsters at the ALA Gym?Pan Asian Boxing Association bantamweight king Roli Gasca, Larry ?Bon Jovi? Canillas and James Bacon.
