Since the release of the article pertaining to the upcoming bare-knuckle boxing match between Bobby Gunn and Chris Thompson, there has been a great deal of interest pertaining to the official rules of the contest.
While elements of the London Prize Ring rules will be in effect, this bout will actually be a combination of the LPR rules and the Queensberry rules. The following is the official press release and the rules governing the bout.

Felko Promotions will hold the first organized Professional Bare Knuckle Boxing match since 1889.
Former World Boxing Champion, and Bare-Knuckle Fighter Bobby Gunn will take on South African Bare-Knuckle MMA fighter Chris ?the Butcher Thompson.
That match will headline an evening of exciting MMA and Boxing action.
