Mayweather on September 17th at the Mecca of boxing, MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event dubbed ?Star Power? will be televised live by HBO PPV.
If Oscar was a gambler he would get great odds on this fight. Las Vegas book makers have Floyd Mayweather seven to one favorite and Victor Ortiz as five to one underdog which means if Mr. De La Hoya would bet ten thousand dollars on Victor and Ortiz would pull off an upset, he would then win fifty thousand dollars. Of course that would not even make a dent in Floyd?s pocket, but it would surely make a mark on Mayweather?s undefeated record and change the landscape of boxing as we know it today.
