Earlier today inside the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada, WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan and IBF title holder Zab Judah officially arrived in the ctiy for their bout this weekend. Although Khan is coming from Los Angeles, as the British star had been putting in work at trainer Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym, Judah actually now calls Las Vegas home and trains at the nearby H.I.T. Factory Gym.
The two fighters have gotten into quite a war of words on their personal Twitter accounts in recent months and by the time the opening bell rings there will be serious tension in the air. The 25-year old Khan was eyeing a summer showdown with fellow champion Timothy Bradley but very likely could have his hands full with the veteran guile, speed, and power coming from the 33-year old lefty from Brooklyn.
