All of these demands about blood tests are enough to drive any boxing fan crazy. The biggest fight in decades continues to elude the boxing faithful and some feel as if this fight may never happen. Floyd Mayweather Jr has put these demands into place because he either feels that Manny Pacquiao is indeed taking some sort of performance enhancing drugs, or he simply doesn’t want to fight.
It would be fun if team Pacquiao started demanding truth tests upon the Mayweather camp. They can agree to blood tests and the Mayweathers have to agree to a lie detector test, or two. Let the truth come out because after all, the truth shall set you free, no?
There has been so much garbage thrown into the path of making this fight a realization that sometimes it’s enough to make you throw your hands up and quit believing. In fact, at this point most fans are rapidly giving up hope, and have come to the realization that the big fight may never happen.
I guess if Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather isn’t going to happen, then the next big wish for this writer is for both Klitschko’s to retire. Why is that? Well firstly, I respect both of the Klitschko brothers. Although not the most exciting of heavyweight’s to watch, they have after all dominated the division. So why wish them to retire? The day the Klitschko’s retire will be the day that the heavyweight division gets exciting again. With the retirement of the Klitschko’s comes instant parity in the heavyweight division. Mississippians chimed in as they do with each article that I write, and gave me their thoughts on Mayweather, Vs. Pacquiao and what else boxing can offer. I spoke to Drake Delvin of Jackson, MS and he shared his thoughts on blood testing, “Manny has stepped up so lets see if Floyd steps up. If Floyd wiggles out of the fight now, he’s a straight up coward.”
I spoke to Kelvin Mack of Ridgeland, MS who supports Floyd Mayweather Jr, “Floyd truly feels that people in this sport are taking steroids, and that includes Manny Pacquiao. Floyd has a right to fight people on a level playing field. If Manny isn’t hiding something why has he waited this long to take random tests?”
Blood tests are good, lie detector tests are better.
