At any huge boxing event you attend in Las Vegas or throughout the country, be it a show headlined by Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, or any other intriguing matchups, you are sure to find a heavy influence of Tecate in the building. The Spanish brewing company took over the reigns from Corona in recent years as a chief sponsor in the boxing world and the Tecate Girls you see at many events are always a fan favorite.
At the moment we are in the midst of the Chicas Tecate competition which will crown four lucky contestants with the opportunity to represent the brand at various events throughout the year in various locations. Voting for the five-city competition is currently being held at Tecate?s personal Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/TecateBoxing.
After ten days of voting, Lisa Garcia received an overwhelming 24% of the vote while Paulina Borrero followed suite with 17%. Both Borrero and Garcia will represent the city of Los Angeles while Facebook voters now turn their attention to the ten finalists from the New York area.
What is special about the process is that each vote could bring someone closer to the final prize, which happens to be a trip for two to a major boxing event and exclusive behind-the-scenes access that brings the VIP experience to life.
