Manny Pacquiao has been on the receiving end of unbased accusations regarding the alleged use of performance enchancing drugs for the last two years.
As Pacquiao goes into a third fight with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12 in Las Vegas, his challenger feels no need for drug testing beyond what the Nevada State Athletic Commission dictates for professional boxing events.
Marquez will not be swayed by the attacks of others on Pacquiao.
“I don’t know if he uses them [performance enhancing drugs], or not,” said Marquez. “If he did use them, he should feel bad for each victory he had an unfair advantage in.”
The Mexican would rather focus on controlling his own destinty against his nemisis.
“What I need to do is prepare myself like I have always one,” said Marquez. “I need to show up in excellent physical and mental condition and I am not asking for any additional drug tests.”
Marquez has already enlisted a doctor to assist him in moving up from the lightweight limit to the contracted weight of 144 pounds for the Pacquiao bout.
