WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan yesterday confirmed that he has reconciled with strength and conditioning expert Alex Ariza and that the pair will work together again beginning next week.
Speaking to fans through his twitter account, Khan said:
“Me and Alex Ariza are working together we continue the work on Monday 6am start.”
Ariza and Khan ended their working relationship earlier this year after disputes over payment for Ariza’s services. One fight for Khan and one very public battle between Ariza and Khan’s father later, and the two sides appear to have come to their senses.
Khan, already back in the gym for his July fight date, has yet to find an opponent however, with the most likely possibilities being IBF light welterweight champion Zab Judah and lightweight interim champion Robert Guerrero.

Shortly after revealing that he will work with Ariza again, Khan and Judah began a war of words that continued well into today.
Khan began:
You got the offer 60/40 in Vegas, plus your dad come to us 6 months ago, wanting the fight for 70-30 lol. I’ll give u anova 10%

Khan and Judah both then posted pictures of the other being knocked out. Judah’s tantrum sparking starching at the hands of Kostya Tszyu and Khan in his blowout loss to Breidis Prescott.
As much as the pair might now dislike each other however, the main issue separating them remains the money team Khan are offering to Judah.
Judah as IBF champion wants a 50-50 split on U.S revenue while Khan and team seem set on 60-40.
Zab Judah may deserve more from Amir Khan, but lacks the leverage to get it
The venue is also potentially a difficulty, with Judah’s promoter Kathy Duva revealing in a recent interview with Lem Satterfield that they want the fight to happen in Atlantic City. Golden Boy and Khan meanwhile want the fight to happen in Las Vegas.
