When it comes to the career of Floyd Mayweather Jr. there is more speculation than actual real developments unfolding these days. Having not fought in a over a year dating back to his May 2010 drubbing of Shane Mosley and not booted out of the pound for pound top ten, the 34-year old has actually gone out of his way to deny the latest rumors of a possible return late this year.
Judging by his actions, Mayweather isn’t too concerned about things either, as he simply is spending time with his family, traveling, and enjoying the fruits of his labor. The latest pit stop for the undefeated star was at the nearby MGM Grand in Las Vegas last night as he could be found on the red carpet with his buddy 50 Cent.
The evening was highlighted by an opening collaborative effort by Rihanna and Britney Spears and also featured appearances by Ne-Yo, The Blacked Eyed Peas, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Pitbull, Taylor Swift, Kesha and countless other stars.
