If you checked out the 8 part video interview that Floyd Mayweather Jr did with FightHype.com, you heard a lot of talk about blood testing, and who agreed to what. Mayweather also answered some follow up questions from the fans. You have to give it to him, he did not spin any of his answers either.
According to Floyd he had agreed to everything and it was Pacquiao that did not agree to take random tests up until the day of the fight. According to Floyd, Pacquiao wanted a cut off date one month prior to the fight.
Mayweather also pointed out that he gives to charity and gives food to the homeless. This is in fact true and that can’t be taken away from him.
The video interview shows Floyd asking the guard at his house if there are any problems. The guard said that there were no problems. This video interview obviously was designed to give Floyd a clean playing field to work with.

Floyd has received a real beating by many scribes on many boxing sites. Honestly? Some of it was deserved. Nobody told Floyd to get on video and drop racial blasts on Asian people. He did that all by himself. Nobody told his friend 50 Cent to bring up steroids on Twitter.

Floyd got arrested by himself, nobody else did that.
With that being said, is it too late for Floyd to make things right and become a better person? No its not too late at all. We would all be hypocrites if we were to stand by and judge Floyd Mayweather Jr. He is a human just like all of us and he has made his share of mistakes just like all of us. Advertisement
There is one thing that that I do find funny though. How is it that Manny is the subject of attack? OK, so he didn’t agree to a blood test up until the day of the fight. Does that give people a green light to attack Manny’s character? Does that give anyone the right to drop racial bombs? No it doesn’t.
Mississippians are still hoping to see the big fight between the two best fighters in the world. Mayweather still has plenty of fans down here, and some of them wanted to chime in. I spoke with a few Floyd Mayweather fans on Saturday. This is what they had to say.
Jake Waters from Jackson – “Floyd ain’t all bad. Love him or hate him, he’s one of the greatest fighters ever.”
Martin Ward from Canton – “Floyd needs to just fly under the radar for awhile and stay out of trouble. America will still support him if he cleans up his act.”
Keith Knoll from Biloxi – “Mayweather has brought most of the trouble on himself. Its not too late though, he can turn things around.”
Floyd is in damage control mode. This is actually a good thing, and hopefully it will all be worth it in the end
