Earlier today WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao arrived home to the Philippines, less than a week removed from his dominant unanimous decision victory over Shane Mosley in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Greeting his adoring fans at the Manila airport passenger terminal, Pacquiao was his usual cheerful self as he took in the ambience in his native land.

With the victory over Mosley last weekend, a dismal fight that saw Pacquiao score a knockdown in the third with little resistance coming from Shane all night, the Filipino star improves his ledger to 53-3-2 with 38 knockouts and will be eyeing a November return to Las Vegas. The tentative plan is for Manny to face off with Juan Manuel Marquez for a third time, with the fight to be held at a catch weight of 144 pounds.
Come November things should be crazy again but for now the champion turned congressman can relax for a bit.
