At dinner the other night, consensus world featherweight boxing champion Manny Pacquiao was advised by his business manager Rod Nazario to set his priorities in order.
US promoter Murad Muhammad is sending plane tickets for Nazario and Pacquiao to fly to New York for a meeting with Home Box Office (HBO) cable TV officials but can?t book a flight because the fighter has too many commitments shooting commercials, filming movies, making public appearances, and playing high-stakes billiards.
Muhammad is eager to sign a contract for Pacquiao?s next fight and HBO is keeping May 22 open for a possible showdown with International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight titlist Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico.
