What’s going to happen tomorrow night? Will Manny Pacquiao once again overwhelm another opponent with speed and power? Shane Mosley has a few issues that he will have to overcome in order to do well. Mosley has shown signs of gassing out in fights as of late. If this is the case tomorrow night, he is in for a very long night. Shane can’t gas out against Pacquiao. If he does he will look like Margarito did, he will look like a bull danced on his face for a few hours.
Pacquiao will enter the ring in good shape, you can count on that. His conditioning is unlike anything in boxing, he can go 20 rounds if he wants to. Mosley will have to be in the best fight shape of his life in order to have a chance. Mosley will not be able to throw as many punches as Pacquiao , so he will need to fight smart and counter punch well.
Pacquiao will have one basic worry, and that’s Mosley’s power. Mosley rocked Floyd Mayweather in the 2nd round of that fight. Mayweather held on, recovered, and then dominated. With that said, Mosley was able to land a very hard right hand. What happens if he lands the same type of punch on Pacquiao? Can Manny take that punch? Time will tell.
Most betting men are going with Manny Pacquiao. Mosley has not looked so great in his last two performances. Was this due to getting old? What is due to bad style match-ups? If it’s father time, then he’s in for a whooping tomorrow. If he was just matched up against two awkward fighters, and he has more in the tank, then anything is possible.
Both men have had strong camps. Pacquiao’s camp was unusually calm and without distractions. Mosley trained up at Big Bear, out of the way and quiet. Mosley enjoys that type of atmosphere. Both men should be well prepared for war tomorrow night. Hopefully the fans will get their bang for the buck.
