LAS VEGAS ? Alex Ariza is giving Shane Mosley only one shot at victory against Manny Pacquiao.
Just one shot.
?I think Mosley?s only shot is to try and knock Manny out early,? said the strength and conditioning coach from Colombia.
?So, there will be fireworks early and Manny knows that we trained to push it and push it at a comfortable level,? he added.
Ariza said Pacquiao will be ready for whatever Mosley brings into the fight, and if the American who?s never been knocked out before wants an early exchange, then so be it.
?The way things went (in training) I just don?t see anyone being able, not just Mosley, to maintain the same kind of efficiency and the same kind of intensity that he has,? said Ariza.
?It?s fight week. We?re here. We?re ready. I believe this is the best camp we?d ever had. I can?t believe the focus that Manny had in this camp,? he added.
Ariza said Pacquiao worked so hard in training, even harder than before, and it makes him think that there?s no one out there who stand a chance against the Filipino champion.
Not Mosley or whoever wants the challenge. Not Juan Manuel Marquez and certainly not Floyd Mayweather.
To Ariza, the 32-year-old Pacquiao is just untouchable.
