Eric “Butterbean” Esch made a career out of knocking people out within 4 rounds. He’s one of the real good guys in boxing, adored by his fans from coast to coast. Butterbean is from Jasper. Alabama. As most of you should know by now, parts of Alabama have been completely destroyed by not just one, but several large tornado’s. The death toll has risen to over 160 people. In Mississippi, there were over 30 people killed making this one of the worst tornado outbreaks in history.
Butterbean is currently shooting a reality TV show in Alabama and has been working closely with local law enforcement. His very own home was spared but just a few miles from his residence many people were killed. This has had a profound impact on him, to the point of bringing the big man to tears. Bean has been donating clothes and helping out at the food centers for the victims. He’s been cooking food and volunteering countless hours to help those folks that have lost everything to these horrible storms.
One thing that Bean wanted to talk about are the scams that certain corporations are trying by using this tragedy. Gasoline price gouging and stores hiking up prices just to make more profit at the expense of the survivors of these devastating tornado are driving Butterbean nuts. He is down-right pissed off about it, and wanted to go on the record to talk about it.
