Earlier tonight in Los Angeles, California, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao finished up a workout at the Wild Card Boxing Club before heading out for another night at Jimmy Kimmy Live!. Pacquiao has been a fixture on the show, dating back to his first performance prior to his November 2009 bout with Miguel Cotto.
It seems to be a tradition for Pacquiao to pay Kimmel a visit, as he also frequented his airwaves heading into bouts against Joshua Clottey and Antonio Margarito last year. The Margarito showcase was especially hilarious as he sang the legendary track ‘Imagine’ along with comedian Will Ferrell. On this episode Pacquiao discussed his latest project, a collaboration with artist Dan Hill and their rendition of ‘Sometimes When We Touch’.

During a recent bus ride to Los Angeles, the topic of Pacquiao’s appearences on Kimmel was brought up and it turns out that he was the only late-night host who had a vested interest in having Pacquiao on his show. And now that Pacquiao’s stature has skyrocked, the Filipino star has a definite sense of loyalty to Kimmel, the reason for him constantly coming back to his program.
