Manny Pacquiao vs. Roberto Duran would have been one hell of a fight. That we can all agree on… but who’d win? Recently Boxing scribes from ESPN tackled this hypothetical match-up.
Dan Rafael for ESPN predicted that Duran would defeat Pacquiao. Rafael writes: “Duran’s relentless pressure, power and great chin would carry the day and he would stop Pacquiao late, or win a close decision in an all-time great fight between two all-time greats.”
Honestly, I do not know who would win this one, but I wouldn’t count out Pacquiao and it certainly would be an awesome match-up.
ESPN is tackling hypothetical match-ups all week long in honor of EA Sports new video game: “Fight Night”.
