BOXING icon Manny Pacquiao visited the landslide site in the village of Guinsaugon in St. Bernard, Southern Leyte to extend his sympathies to the victims and the families of those who were killed and those still missing.
Pacquiao, who was accompanied by St. Bernard Mayor Maria Lim, arrived at the command center at 4:30 p.m. and stayed for about 15 minutes.
“I came to extend my sympathies to the victims,” Pacquiao said.
He said he gave cash and other donations.
Filipino soldiers and US Marine rescuers posed for pictures with Pacquiao before he left.
