This past weekend the second episode of Showtime’s Pacquiao-Mosley, Fight Camp 360 premiered in conjunction with the Vic Darchinyan-Yohnny Perez bantamweight clash. Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley face off on May 7th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in what is shaping up to be the biggest event of the year thus far and the series chronicled the two men as they began to get into the thick of things in their training.
When looking at Pacquiao and Mosley there are several parallels you see, such as their genuine nature and refusal to trash one another, but at the same time the two men come from extremely different backgrounds. This fact was heightened as Pacquiao could be seen training the first leg of his camp in his native Philippines in Baguio admits a sea of adoring fans in his downtime while Mosley could be found in his secluded home in the hills of the Big Bear mountains in California.

The episode highlighted the dynamics that take place behind the scenes of a legitimate training camp, from the mind sets of the two fighters as well as the strategy that will be implemented by trainers Freddie Roach and Naazim Richardson. While Pacquiao puts much pressure on himself to perform for his country, Mosley’s mood is lightened by the family element around him as he refuses to give up on his legacy at 39 years of age.
