Everybody heard it. Floyd Mayweather Jr was booed by the crowd as soon as his face was put up on the big screen. While hundreds were booing he just sat there with his buddy 50 Cent and laughed. This reaction by the fans is a very real indicator as to where the boxing fans are at as it pertains to Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Once upon a time, Mayweather Jr would have been applauded loudly by the fans, but not anymore. Bad PR move after bad PR move has diminished Floyd’s reputation in the boxing circle. Disgusting language, poor behavior, and bad decisions have all taken a toll on little Floyd’s reputation.
Wait let me guess, now someone else will read this article and run back to the Mayweather camp and accuse me of making more stuff up, right?
Sitting beside Floyd was his buddy 50 Cent. It wasn’t too long ago when 50 Cent got on Twitter and called Manny Pacquiao a “punk ass” and brought up steroid testing. That really helped Floyd out, didn’t it? I don’t think so.
I have written plenty of Mayweather articles over the past few years. I have even praised him for his charity work that he does in the Las Vegas area for the homeless. It’s funny, I wonder why Floyd Mayweather Sr doesn’t call me a “NICE Hillbilly mother #5er” when I write nice things about Floyd?
