If I had to guess, the number of times Floyd Mayweather Sr has gone on the record, (just on 8CountNews.com) and implied that Pacquiao is using steroids, the number would be at least 10 times. The crazy thing is that Floyd Sr has gone on many publications online and has strongly suggested that Pacquiao is juicing.
Sadly, he was interviewed by FightHype.com recently where he lashed out at me calling me a “Hillbilly Mother #$%er. Most websites would have at least researched a little bit before letting Floyd make a fool out of himself.
Apparently someone in Floyd’s gym read my previous Examiner article, and ran back to Floyd and misquoted what I wrote. The fact of the matter is, nobody ever wrote that Floyd Mayweather Sr guanteed that Manny Pacquiao is on steroids. Mayweather Sr got on FightHype.com dropping F bombs, and denials about something that I never wrote.
Making matters even worse for Big Floyd is the fact that 8CountNews.com records all of their interviews and streams them as Podcasts on the front page. Everything that the fighters or trainers say is recorded verbatim, and streamed.
Big Floyd is correct about one thing, he did not say that he ?guaranteed? that Manny is on steroids, but he certainly strongly suggested and or implied it several times.
Let me tell you what’s really going on here. Recently, team Pacquiao went public and informed the world that they are going forward with their slander suit filed against Mayweather for the steroid accusations. When someone drops that bomb on your lap I guess it creates a sudden urge to back peddle furiously, and that is what Floyd Sr is doing here. Advertisement
Nobody likes a bully, and I for one will not be silenced by one. Facts are facts, and this writer has the facts recorded and streamed.
Someone should probably clue in Big Floyd and explain to him what being on the record means. If you go on the record and do an interview with a writer, don’t say things that you do not want published. Us Hillbilly folk in Mississippi even know that much, ya hear? That brings up another funny thing. Being that I am from New York, it is rare that I am called a Hillbilly. I must admit, it did provide a few days of welcomed comedy to my life though.
As I do reside in Mississippi, and proud to admit it, I talked to some of my fellow Mississippians about this verbal attack at yours truly. I talked to Jacob Simms of Jackson, MS and asked him for his thoughts on the F bombs that Big Floyd threw at me. Jacob chimed in accordingly, ” First of all, I would bet you my John Deer tractor that Big Floyd couldn’t even spell the word “cat” even if you gave him the C and the T. He must have a bottomless pit because as many times as he has shoved his foot in his mouth, you would have thought he would have choked to death by now.”
In the meantime, Manny Pacquiao trains hard with Freddie Roach getting ready for the big fight with Shane Mosley.
