The very last thing that should come out of 50 Cent’s mouth is the word steroid. For a guy that used to sell crack cocaine to both young and old American citizens he has some nerve.
This is the same old song and dance. One side acting like thugs without a shred of humbleness, and the other side just keeping quiet, and working hard. Pacquiao has 8 world titles, a bank account full of money, his pride, his good reputation and his dignity. The other side? Well, you can probably get an update by reading the police blotter on them.
It’s beyond me why 50 Cent decided to attack Manny Pacquiao. Maybe it’s because Floyd finally realized by him talking it only creates more problems for him. Memo to 50 Cent – NOBODY cares what you have to say about Manny Pacquiao.
Let’s take a look at Manny’s resume. 8 division world champion, Humanitarian, Congressman Philippines, Entertainer/Singer. What part of that resume does 50 Cent fail to see? 50 Cent called Pacquiao a “Punk Ass” in one of his tweets. Really? Try calling him Sir, or Mr Pacquiao.
As Pacquiao prepares for his next fight against Shane Mosley, 50 Cent and his pal Floyd Mayweather are tweeting insults at people. I think Manny is making better use of his time, don’t you guys?
Mississippians have chimed in on this topic several times. Every person that I have talked to from Jackson, MS to Biloxi, MS on the Gulf of Mexico, has an opinion on this. Most side with Pacquiao, and even some of the Mayweather fans have broken away in disgust with him.
I spoke with one of the Mississippi Athletic Commissioners, Patrick Turner. He said that “Mayweather has everything because of boxing. It’s time he gives back to the sport and fights Manny Pacquiao.” I agree, and hopefully that day will come in the near future.
