Roy Jones Jr phoned into the 8CN headquarters and informed us that negotiations are taking place for his next fight, and that if successful, will put him into the ring in May Vs. Denis Lebedev. The fight will happen at cruiserweight, and will take place somewhere in Russia. Lebedev was last seen in the ring Vs. current cruiserweight champion Marco Huck. He came up short, but put forth a very nice effort.
Jones has never grabbed a world title at cruiserweight and has made it known here on 8CN several times that he wants to. Stay tuned to 8CN for more updates.
