Wherever Home Box Office (HBO) leads it, Team Pacquiao is likely to follow the network?s lead.
Amidst all the ring candidates that have stood up and sought his superstar ward?s head, business manager and acknowledged skipper of Team Pacquiao, Rod Nazario said that they are most likely to commit to whoever the pay-per-view channel anoints as Manny Pacquiao?s next opponent.
But Nazario, who is recuperating from an operation to extract a stone in his kidney, emphasized that the prize still has to be right before they sign any deal with HBO.
?Medyo masusunod pa rin ang HBO kasi sila ang usual financier [in these events]. Kung sino ang tingin ng HBO na maganda ang laban at financially [OK for them], then they?ll choose that type of opponent for Manny,? Nazario said Wednesday in a phone interview from his office at the L&M Gym in downtown Manila. ?But of course we won?t get into any deal kung alam naming hindi maganda ang offer sa amin.?
