Hi Mike, your boy Ricardo must be smoking some funny stuff again.
Ricardo must have had some bad childhood experience with a Filipino kid.
I bet he was beaten up by a Pinoy in grade school. He just wont give my man Manny the due respect.
I’ll give # 2 to Sergio, he deserves it.
Have a good week. Hope to see you May 7.

Know I know how Dr. Frankenstein felt when his self creation turned into a real monster and terrorized the entire village in Transylvania or wherever they lived.
Or was that Dracula’s stomping and chomping grounds? Sometimes, I get addled, I get my monsters mixed up.
Speaking of Monsters & Critics, my monster’sa name is fellow Examiner Ricardo Lois.
Now I’m an adherent of free speech, I fly my First Amendment flag at all times and yada, yada, yada but Lois, public school educator in a tough LA urban slum area misaptly named Hawaiian Gardens, and Latino Boxing Examiner takes things way too far.
He’s the guy who falsely yells “fire” in a crowded theater, causing panic and mayhem.
Lois’ latest assault on Manny Pacquiao is to question his mythical title as Pound For Pound king of the ring.
Lois, always the agent-provacateur, suggests that Argentine dynamo Sergio Martinez may have supplanted Pacman from his lofty pugilistic perch, the lofty spot formerly occupied by Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr.
I find this absurd and ridiculous.
Martinez destroyed Tall Paul Williams in their second bout.
And on Saturday night, Martinez knocked out Sergiy Dzinziruk, a decent fighter at Foxwoods in Connecticut.
That led hyperbolic Martinez promoter Lou Lou DiBella to jump up and down and make reference to his “Hall Of Fame fighter.”
Not to dampen DiBella’s enthusiasm but Martinez’s resume is not, at least not yet, any Hall Of Fame one.
Now, if Martinez beat back someone of the stature of Miguel Cotto, an opponent of that caliber, then we can talk about giving Sergio his free ticket into the shrine in Canastota.
But not yet.
Pacman remains the P4P ruler, pending his May 7 battering of nearly age 40 Sugar Free Shane Mosley.
Mayweather, inactive since his dwarf tossing of Juan Ma Marquez last May 1, remains No. 1A behind Pacquiao unless and until he fights and beats the Pinoy Idol.
Martinez’s place is behind Manny and Floyd.
Back to Lois, my protege is jabbing at Pacman to stimulate page views. Nothing I hate more than a fight scribe who knows what we do is pay per view scribbling.
Like Dr. Frankenstein, I meant well.
Like Dr. Frankenstein, I created a little monster.
A monster and a critic rolled into one.
Until the night, if it ever comes, that Pacquiao defeats Mayweather, you will never silence Senor Lois.
If Manny beats Floyd, Lois will find something to rip. He”ll say, well, Floyd was too old at his present age 34 or 35, or whatever.
He’s not a clown, he’s an agitator.
He’s the garlic sauce in the pepperpot.
Or maybe I should say the salsa picante.
If he gets to you, then just do what I do.
Read him and laugh with him, not at him.
And, let me clue you in on his darkest secret.
Lois is actually a good guy as his day job proves.
But, please, don’t tell anyone that.
Nobody’s interested in a mellow monster.
