Las Vegas – You can add former heavyweight Mike Tyson to the list of men who want to see a fight between Pound for Pound King Manny Pacquiao and boxing icon Floyd Mayweather.
During the pay per view telecast of Miguel Cotto and Ricardo Mayorga’s Saturday night fight, Showtime broadcaster Jim Grey did a brief interview with “Iron Mike”
When questioned about the fight everyone wants to see, Tyson – who has a relationship with Mayweather – provided the following answer.”
“I would love to the see the fight,: said Tyson. “I would love to see the odds, so I can make a beat.”
Tyson seemed to believe that Mayweather might be a slight favorite in a fight with Pacquaio due performances against common opponent Juan Manuel Marquez.
“Pacquiao went life and death with Marquez,” said Tyson, “Then Mayweather dominated him.”
Hopefully, Tyson will get to lay a few dollars on a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather, and the boxing world sees a much anticipated fight come into fruition during 2011.
