Undefeated NABF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (18-0-13KO) is coming off an impressive unanimous decision over Anges Adjaho (25-5) which was televised on ESPN Friday Night Fights. Porter was recently asked by boxing legend Freddie Roach if he would be available to go to the Philippines to assist Manny Pacquiao for his fight Vs. Shane Mosley. Of course Porter agreed, so he and his father/trainer Kenny will be heading to the Philippines shortly.
Porter, promoted by Prize Fight Promotions, is currently undefeated and has been looking more and more impressive with each fight. Freddie Roach was quoted earlier in 2010 as saying Porter is a “certain future world champion.”
