But if local distributors of imported magazines take this cue, they will make a killing in selling the latest issue of The Ring magazine since Filipino sports hero Manny Pacquiao has landed on its cover alongside perennial cover boy Roy Jones Jr.
In The Ring?s April 2004 issue, Pacquiao also barged into the elite pound-for-pound ratings of the magazine widely regarded as ?the Bible of Boxing,? owing to his spectacular victory over fire-breathing Mexican Marco Antonio Barrera in November at The Alamodome.
It was also the first time Pacquiao?s picture made it to the cover of the prestigious magazine
