Every day it looks more and more like Manny Pacquiao?s next opponent is going to be Shane Mosley. Some boxing fans are already writing this off as an easy victory for Pacquiao because he?s another washed up Mayweather leftover.
Sometimes we easily forget styles make fights. Just because the defensive Mayweather had an easy time with Mosley doesn?t mean the aggressive Pacman would have similar results.
Freddie Roach understands this and welcomes the challenge.
?I think Mosley could be a tough fight. Last year when he beat [Antonio] Margarito, everyone thought he was the greatest thing. Now after the Mayweather fight, they think he?s nothing. I think Shane is a very tough guy,? Roach said.
At the end of the day, I?m not sure if Pacquiao can knock Mosley out. However, I know one thing for certain. Manny Pacquiao is a better fighter than Floyd Mayweather Jr.
In other words, if Money May can beat Sugar Shane so can Pacman. It?s as simple as that.
