Man bites dog. Barack Obama and John Boehner hit some D.C. nightclubs on a “Boys Night Out.” Michael Marley is in Floyd Mayweather’s corner.
Okay, the first two will never happen.
But the third item is true and accurate.
In his pending misdemeanor case in Las Vegas, I am on Floyd Mayweather’s side and against this Paul Blart, Mall Cop, type named Shayne Smith.
Smith appears to be a trifling dude.
The 21 year old Smith, who is actually a pretend “cop” working for a Homeowners Association, told police and prosecutors in Clark County that the undefeated fighter was “verbally abusive” to him.
Apparently, the Mercurial Mayweather got mad when Smith put parking violation citations on a couple of Mayweather’s fly automobiles.
Then, Smith said, Mayweather repeatedly jabbed his finger into Smith’s cheek.
I guess Smith did not turn the other cheek, that only one was supposedly caused redness and discoloration.
I wonder if the redness and discoloration was caused by embarrassment.
This case is a real zero, folks, and surely just a precursor to Smith seeking to get some money out of “Money” Mayweather through a civil suit.
(See Vegas judge sets misdemeanor trial date on rent a cop battery charges.)
Oh, as for the Man Card.
Who calls the cops or runs to the DA because someone put a finger in their face?
Isn’t that girly behavior, like grade school level?
Mayweather’s “Baby Mama Drama” case is serious business although I repeat again, he won’t get a single day of prison time when that felony matter is settled.
Instead, Mayweather will go into a domestic violence/anger management program and pay some court fines. And a permanent order of protection will be issued in Josie Harris’ favor. If Mayweather violates that, he will go to the pokey for real time.
But a finger to cheek and some yelling?
Why clog up the courts with this petty incident?
Smith is an opportunist looking to cash in on Mayweather’s name and fame.
Even the judge said it was small potatoes Wednesday, refusing a DA’s plea to have Mayweather arrested.
The judge did set a Feb. 3 trial date and I can’t wait for the testimony in this trivial matter.
Maybe I can get TMZ to hire me as their legal analyst on this landmark case, lol.
I can hear the court officers laughing all the way from Nevada on this joke of a criminal complaint.
Mr. Smith could not make it as a “meter maid” in certain areas of The Bronx or Brooklyn, that’s for sure.
