This has brought about a new theory, which suggests that the reason why negotiations between Mayweather and Pacquiao haven?t fallen into place, could be because Mayweather could be avoiding to face the Filipino in the ring. A lot of people are convinced about Pacquiao?s strength as a fighter after he defeated his 17 pound superior, Margarito last Saturday in Arlington, Texas. This is a title that even Mayweather could have laid claim to.
The previous negotiations between the two camps had fallen through after Mayweather asked for random drug tests, followed by alleged racist comments towards Pacquiao. Could it be that Mayweather had been playing these games just to avoid fighting Pacquiao.
