The greatest coward in boxing history Floyd Mayweather Jr. was taunted during the HBO pay-per-view telecast of the Pacquiao-Margarito superfight in Dallas.
During the post-fight wrap up, on-air conversation between Jim Lampley and Max Kellerman, a very interesting exchange took place between the two HBO announcers?
Lampley stated,?So years from now we?ll say we know Mayweather was a genius. He waited for Pacquiao to fight five bigger guys. He watched him fight a guy who is seventeen pounds larger. Maybe he?ll take the fight (with Pacquiao) next week??
Kellerman responded with a chuckle, which made Lampley smile himself.
To which Kellerman added, with a tone of amusement in his voice, ?We?ll seeeee!?
It was quality commentating by the HBO team. One of the female viewers at our fight party named Lynn, a long time boxing fan, remarked after the Lampley-Kellerman exchange, ?They?re taunting him now.?
