Manny Pacquiao vs Margarito hype builds up 48 hours before the fight

Manny Pacquiao vs Margarito hype builds up 48 hours before the fight. Pacquiao geared up to fight Margarito

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is ready for Saturday night?s big super welterweight fight over the Mexican fighter Antonio Margarito at the Cow Boy Stadium, Arlington, Texas. After some distractions in his training camp, which his trainer Freddie Roach complained about, Pacquiao is now in shape for the much-hoped bout over Margarito. Even Roach agrees it now confidently.

The upcoming fight is a decisive one for Pacquiao due to several reasons. It is his first bout after being elected as a Congressman in his home land, Philippines. Pacquiao steps into a bout over Margarito not only being a fighter, but also a busy congressman out of the fighting ring. Of course, it is a number one challenge for the fighter.

One another thing is that it is Pacquiao?s first attempt in a bigger division. Pacquiao vs. Margarito bout is the Filipino fighter?s highest weight class fight. Besides, Margarito is known for his huge size and domineering punches and strikes. Pacquiao and his camp are really quite worried about the sheer size of Margarito. Yet, Pacquiao is confident that his speed will help him dominate the Mexican fighter at Cow Boy Stadium.

Earlier, Freddie expressed concern over Pacquiao?s extra activities during a tough practice session. The fighter took some valuable time to meet the President of his country before leaving for the U.S. Even after landing in America, Pacquiao hurriedly flied to Las Vegas and Nevada to help the Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid campaign in the U.S. midterm elections.

Nevertheless, the pound-for-pound king is back now with all his engagements are over, and totally concentrated to take on Margarito on Saturday. ?He worked hard; it just didn?t turn out the way I wanted it to. For me personally, I want a fighter to go in there without any concerns, with everything done on time and consistent. It just didn?t work out that way. But to say he?s not in shape or that he?s not going to win, that?s not what we?re saying at all,? Pacquiao?s strength coach, Alex Ariza earlier said.
