Short and sweet, Manny Pacquiao got civilized.
He no longer has to take up residence at the Travelodge next to Freddie Roach?s Wild Card gym.
And if he had to, he?d probably buy it and turn it into a palatial mansion like the one Rocky bought.
If you?ve watched ?24/7? on HBO, it?s pretty obvious that Manny is somewhat distracted by his duties as a congressman, performing on ?Jimmy Kimmel Live,? sitting for an interview on ?60 Minutes,? and a slew of other silly things.
And if you have followed Freddie Roach throughout the years, you know he speaks his mind and Freddie Roach is very worried about this fight.
Roach has stated publicly a number of times that he does not feel Pacquiao is where he should be, which is not good news for Camp Pacquiao, since the fight is two days away, as of this writing.
But perhaps the most telling statement came from Manny himself during his interview on ?60 Minutes.?
As he spoke about his duties as a congressman and pondered whether or not he would ever seek the presidency of the Philippines, Pacquiao said that he had accomplished all of his goals in boxing.
That might be good thing for Manny, except for one thing.
