WBA junior welterweight (140 pounds) titlist Amir Khan and WBO welterweight (147 pounds) king Manny Pacquiao both work with strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza and four-time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach (pictured above, on the right, with Khan).
Khan (23-1, 17 knockouts) has an HBO televised, Golden Boy Promotions Dec. 11 clash on the horizon against WBA interim titlist Marcos Rene Maidana (29-1, 27 KOs) of Argentina, and, Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KOs), a Nov. 13, HBO pay per view televised match up with former world title holder, Antonio Margarito (38-6, 27 KOs) that is being promoted by Top Rank Promotions.
Pacquiao-Margarito is for the WBC’s vacant junior middleweight (154 pounds) title. Khan (pictured above) spoke to FanHouse about his sparring with Pacquiao that has helped him to prepare for Maidana.
