Quickness is Manny’s advantage vs Antonio

LOS ANGELES ? Manny Pacquiao admitted on Thursday he is undersized fighting at super-welterweight but guaranteed his lack of poundage will be compensated by his huge advantage in quickness when he meets Antonio Margarito on Nov. 13 in Dallas.

?I feel slow when I weigh more than 150 lbs,? Pacquiao said as he was capping his workout under the watchful eyes of Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club.

Pacquiao said he prefers weighing 147 or 148 lbs because he can retain his speed, something that he badly needs against the ultra-aggressive but lumbering 5-11 Margarito, who has a five-inch edge in height.

Pacquiao and Margarito have both agreed on a catch weight of 150 lbs and Roach and Pacquiao share the same view that movement will be a key role in cutting down Margarito to size.

Roach said Pacquiao will ?weigh 147 or 148 lbs? during the official weighin and should not be more than 150 lbs when he enters the ring at Cowboys Stadium.

?He will weigh 147 or 148 and he feels sluggish when he weighs 152 and it slows him down. We know his best fighting weight,? said Roach.

Pacquiao will have two more remaining sparring days ? Saturday and Monday ?before his team departs for Dallas on a chartered flight on board a Boeing 757 that the fighter leased.
