MICHAEL Domingo (40-14-2, 18 KOs) isn?t going to let the chance to battle for a world title slip in his title eliminator bout against hometown fighter Vusi Malinga (19-3-1, with 12 KOs) in South Africa.
?We talked before he left and he thanked me for everything. He (Domingo) said he has waited for this chance and he will go for the knockout,? said ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer in an interview yesterday.
Domingo along with trainer Edito Villamor and Chad Ca?ares left for South Africa last week.
Domingo and Malinga will be in a 12-round bout for the No.1 spot in the IBF bantamweight division.
The 31-year-old Sultan Kudarat native has already been rejected by three champions?WBO bantamweight king Fernando Montiel, IBF bantamweight titleholder Yonnhy Perez and interim WBO champion Eric Morel.
