Manny Pacquiao is picking up the pace in training for Antonio Margarito, and for one unfortunate sparring partner that means a broken nose. (Ouch!) Pacquiao faces Margarito this coming November 13th at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Quoted by AOL Fanhouse, Boxing trainer for Pacquiao, Freddie Roach has revealed that Pacquiao has already sent a sparring partner packing with a broken nose.
Quoted by the online publications, Roach stated: “Right now, we’re using Rashaad Holloway, we have David Rodela, Ray Beltran, and, there was this one other kid from Detroit, but I forget his name right now. But Manny broke his nose yesterday, so he’s out.”
Ouch! Obviously after getting a broken nose, Roach had to let go of the boxer. Talk about a crappy way to get canned… with a broken nose! Makes you respect boxers and sparring partners even more.
