I don’t know how many, but there were a bunch of Filipino nationals in Arlington last March to see Manny Pacquiao fight Joshua Clottey at Cowboys (football) Stadium.
They may not have noticed, but the little 50,000 – seat baseball stadium across the parking lot – from 100,000 – seat Cowboys Stadium – known as The Ballpark in Arlington – is home to the American League West Division Champion Texas Rangers Baseball Club.
The Rangers are currently in the fight of their lives to win their first ever American League Pennant against the defending world champion New York Yankees.
The series is tied at a game apiece with games 3, 4, and 5 at Yankee Stadium starting Monday night. If games 6 or 7 are necessary in this best of 7, they will be back in Arlington.
